Lead Front-End Developer

1. Role Overview

J-Pay Africa Group is seeking a highly skilled Lead Front-End Developer with expertise in FlutterFlow to spearhead the development of user-centric fintech applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing cutting-edge digital payment platforms, ensuring seamless user experience, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions.

2. Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development & UI/UX Implementation

• Lead the development of responsive, scalable, and high-performance front-end solutions using FlutterFlow.
• Design and implement user-friendly, visually appealing, and intuitive interfaces that enhance customer experience.
• Optimize UI/UX components for fast loading speeds, accessibility, and seamless navigation.

FlutterFlow & Low-Code Development

• Utilize FlutterFlow’s low-code/no-code capabilities to build and deploy fintech applications efficiently.
• Implement custom widgets, animations, and interactions to enhance the platform’s functionality.
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility (iOS, Android, Web) and seamless integrations with backend services.

Collaboration & Agile Development

• Work closely with back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to develop innovative fintech solutions.
• Participate in scrum meetings, sprint planning, and code reviews to maintain high development standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end performance issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities.

API Integration & Payment Systems

• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways into the J-Pay Africa Group fintech ecosystem.
• Ensure real-time data synchronization and security compliance with industry standards.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and user data protection mechanisms.

Performance Optimization & Best Practices

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while adhering to best development practices.
• Optimize mobile and web applications for speed, responsiveness, and usability.
• Stay updated with the latest FlutterFlow advancements, front-end frameworks, and fintech trends.

3. Qualifications & Experience

Essential Qualifications

• Diploma degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.
• 5+ years of front-end development experience, with at least 2 years in FlutterFlow.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in FlutterFlow-based applications.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in FlutterFlow, Flutter, Dart, and low-code development tools.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and front-end frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Firebase, and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of mobile-first and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or other UI/UX design tools.
