Palestine Country Director

1. Role Overview

The Palestine Country Director will be responsible for leading J-Pay Africa Group’s operations, strategic growth, and financial services expansion in Palestine. This role requires a dynamic and visionary leader who can drive market penetration, foster key partnerships, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee the successful implementation of J-Pay Africa Group’s fintech solutions within the region.

2. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Market Expansion

• Develop and execute the country’s strategic plan in alignment with J-Pay Africa Group’s overall vision.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
• Expand J-Pay Africa Group’s fintech solutions, including digital payments, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), and financial inclusion programs in Palestine.

Regulatory & Compliance Management

• Ensure full compliance with Palestine’s financial laws, Central Bank regulations, and data protection policies.
• Liaise with relevant regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals and maintain legal standing.
• Implement strong governance and risk management frameworks.

Business Development & Partnerships

• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, financial institutions, government agencies, and private sector partners.
• Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships to enhance service delivery and market presence.
• Advocate for fintech and digital banking solutions within Palestine’s financial ecosystem.

Operational Excellence & Team Leadership

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, security, and service quality.
• Build and lead a high-performing local team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Implement scalable financial technologies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Financial Performance & Sustainability

• Drive revenue growth, manage budgets, and optimize financial performance.
• Monitor market trends and consumer behavior to identify new revenue streams.
• Ensure financial sustainability and profitability of J-Pay Africa Group’s operations in Palestine.

3. Qualifications & Experience

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in financial services, banking, fintech, or digital payments.
• Strong knowledge of Palestine’s financial ecosystem, banking regulations, and fintech industry.
